Of the joy it can bring and the pain that can unfurl

There's a soul mate for me and of course one for you
I have yet to see, if it's true love I knew
Cuz a soulmate's not someone that is practically perfect
For that's an illusion and so much less worth it.

I'll know when I meet them, it's a challenge I'm wantin'
Cuz they'll piss me off, and push all my buttons
Butterflies so pink isn't what I wanna feel
Challenge me to think, that's what is real.
